My favorite skin that I have and use is a req 7 6-27dmg 15^50 30hps Sephis Axe. I know its not "perfect" but its close enough for me...plus i found it my self and its as close as i will come to a perfect weapon cuz i doubt i will ever pay xxxxxxx ectos for a weapon

that would be a good kinda weapon for a caster since they probaly wont attack

Many value perfection, but I'm not that extreme. A couple days ago I bought a 15-22 Long Sword, 15>50 but with a 13 req. I don't mind if it's not req8 or 9. They do the same damage anyways. Skins are often what people choose, but I've been using a Tanzit's Cleaver for awhile mainly because it's cheap and the only difference between it and a Victo's Axe is the Sundering and Deep Wound mod. Keeping deep wound for an extra 33% is helpful when your axe is at 16, Eviscerate does deep wound for 21 seconds and with the mod it does 28 seconds. Works for me. I don't care if Victo's Axe is a sickle mod. I used to use a Razorstone because I liked the Sephis Axe skin, but switched to Tanzit's. I bet some people will say that sentimental value is also a factor in determining how valuable a weapon is to them.

Modded collector items > everything (in my personal opinion).

Sundering 20/20 [15>50] of Fortitude +30 is the zomg 1337 wammo-soaks-his-pants-material.

Zealous is my favourite prefix for melee weapons because energy does matter. This is closely followed by Shocking (good with conjure lightning).

In PvE I choose suffixes to suit the occasion: +7al (v.elemental) for ele monsters such as ice imps or +7al (v. physical) for trolls. +30hp for a mixture/degen monsters.

Similarly, with bows, i choose Crippling, Poisonous, Silencing strings etc to suit my skillbar. Never sundering.
